I'm in love with JP from the Bachelorette...If she doesn't take him...I will.
Tuesday sucked....I sucked at work, I didn't get the job I applied for, and I got a really bad news (to be disclosed)...
I didn't take the job news as bad as I thought...considering the fact that it means I'm still stuck in the system, that I'm not moving forward and that I don't know how will I feed my family...Plus, it's pretty much the only job I haven't gotten after an interview...I'm really good at interviews...I mean, it's all about presenting yourself, and nobody knows how awesome I am better than myself...
My bad news that I got was that my American BFF is not getting the house 4 blocks away from mine..I went into shock, and then found a hundred undoable solutions and then I accepted it by painting...Those are my steps...
Money sure would fix a lot of problems...I wish I had the money to fix up my garage so my friend could move in there :)
I painted the inside of the bathroom closet white (it used to be many colors)...My clothes deserve to be in a pretty place...I wish I could go on What not to wear, throw all my clothes away and get all new clothes for my closet (don't we all)...but then I'd have no idea what to wear for a while.
To cheer my friend up I told her (not asked her) that we were going out the next day and I figured it all out for her...So I went to kidnap her and she didn't come...Turns out her husband is on my black list now for that...long story, but he didn't say he wasn't working the next day...
I got home, message Liz, who trained me and used to work at the hospital but now lives in Kansas, and went straight to the bar to meet w her...50 cents beer...pretty awesome...$2 dollar night...
I met a few of her friends....One I was interested in for a booty call guy :)...and we are going rafting w a few people next week...So exciting...Ill keep you posted (if I survive w the river as high as it is)...
I drank 2 beers in 2 hours...and I'm sure i was in the limit to drive (and I felt more than fine) but I walk home (alone, yes).
Having the car in front of the bar forced me to get my butt up this morning and go walk (I had to get my car)...I was on my way down the mountain when I started hearing a whistle...I walk about 5 meters (look it up) thinking dog whistles were very annoying and I didn't know why would a dog want to go to it...and then I realized dog whistles are inaudible for humans so I thought this could be a person yelling for help...As I was walking back up, I had it all figured out...I was going to go to the person, make sure they were ok, and then go get out trauma coordinator/ er nurse, I had just seen running up...Turns out it was a dog whistle...Better safe than guiltfull I guess...
There was an armed bank robbery in the very small town of Salida...I called my few in town families to make sure they stayed inside and narrowed my kids to being w Michael (2 blocks away from the bank)...I left him a message not to leave the apartment and why, and to call me, ad I kept calling him all day but the absolute a hole never had the decency to call me...I guess he really enjoys messing w me as much as usual and didn't consider the fact that I just wanted to know the kids were safe...
The hospital went into lock down (total restricted movement in and out)...It was pretty much the same...other than I was worrying about my daughters the whole day...I hope he decides life is too difficult and moves away soon...
OK, I'll go watch some TV..
Peace out yo'

Just a Few Things
I have to admit, I haven't had the most patience today. Therefore, I've tried to divert my children's attention by playing different games, dancing w very loud music, cooking the most amazing pancakes I've made (no raw middles for the first time)...It looks like I'm trying to make myself look good, but I'm not....I had to do a lot of things so as not to have to make my girls concentrate for too long, have to discipline, etc. so that's nothing to feel good mommy for.
I survived my first week at my new job as a Medical Records Clerk (or they survived me)...I really like my job...but carrying charts and filing took a toll on my body...It aches...I hope w time I'll build up strenght and I need to do some lower back muscles excercises...specially to support my growing belly...(don't start pregnancy rumors, I've just gained weight)...
I am also trying to reach an agreement w Michael, since just for filing separately there would be a $400 difference (and that's just mediation and serving him)...It's hard to schedule talking time when he's either not up for it or doesnt show up...I am starting the papers next week for sure so I really hope we can do it together...I'm not keeping my hopes too high but that would be best case scenario. Wish me luck!

New Week, New Life
Hi People!!!
Just want to update you on my life, before it becomes too much for me to catch you up on...
My new job is going really well...I think I'm pretty trained right now after 3 days, I just need to get faster, before my filing pile reaches enormous proportions...I think it's going really good...My new department has half the amount of people and a third of the space. The ladies I work with are awesome: they help each other all the time and are very positive and polite (I thought I was positive and polite...but I might not seem like it compared to them)... My new manager is great and I just need to get used to her style.
I've decided I'll take advantage of the day and work out at my HOUR lunch, so that I don't feel like I've only worked by the time I'm off. I work out at the hospital's mini gym: 10 min bycicling, 10 sit ups, 10 min elyptical, 5 min arm strenght, streching, shower and back to work,,,good, right???
Another great habit I'm going to acquire for my new life is regular drinking (jk)...I went to play pool w Em yesterday and I had a blast, so we are planning on making it a regular thing...She promised things like dancing on top of the pool table, which sounds very appealing :). It'll be nice to have a girls night out...
I went to see my friend Angels and her 3 month old baby, who I held the whole time. She has problems letting go and I'm pushy so the first thing I do when I get to her house is take away Levy. I even took him a few houses away to my other's friend's house to get sth (leaving Angels home)...I'm planning on more kiddnaps during the summer to keep her sane.
It was so nice to talk with Angels, about religion (and how much I've been needing to let myself go in God lately), being stuck on an income bracket and how easy it is for people to do so for generations without realizing their potential and opportunities, lots about baby routines and mommy's styles, etc, etc, etc...and I was only there for 2 hours....I love to talk to someone who, eventhough she doesn't share my personality, shares my culture and religion.
When I got back, at about 9 pm, I showered and decided it was time to change my winter closet for summer closet, and so I did in about 1 hour, including putting away most of it and separating things I haven't used in a few summers or that just don't fit (sad but true) and taking the winter stuff to the basement...I can't believe I used to only have a closet and a dresser, now I also have Michael's old closet and a closet type thing in the basement...I definitely need What Not to Wear to come to my house and tear me apart and build me back up...
OK, summary of the last few days...
Have a good rest of the week!!!

In Between Jobs
I had my last day as a Registrar in Patient Financial Services yesterday and I will have my first day as a Clerk in Medical Records on Monday. So, right now, I'm in between jobs...not that I get any extra time to recuperate from the traumatizing experience that was leaving a department and job I felt so confortable with...
On Wednesday, my last "trainee" brought me some yellow Calla Lillies (my favorite flower), made me cry. On Thursday, they organized a pot luck for me. And Friday was pretty uneventful in the PFS Department...I didn't have time to mop around...It was pretty steady all day...
I did go see a lawyer on Friday, so, with all the divorce crap...I don't have room in my brain about how sad it is to leave PFS, how scary it is to have a new job, whether I'll like it or not, whether it'll be challenging enough, how will I get along w everybody...That will come. I'm a big girl, I made a decision and there's not point in worrying about it...I'll just show up and do my best.
Going back to divorceland, we have and appointment to see the lawyer on Thrusday. I've already filled out the papers w everything I think should be...Hopefully, Michael will agree and we can file jointly which means a lot less money, which I don't have anyways, and a lot less time...We'll see...
Today, there was an Easer hunt 2 blocks away from my house...It hasn't snowed all winter but it snowed today...Quite a bit....As smart as I am, I drove those two blocks....to find that I pretty much parked at my house...We were at a corner with not too many kids, so the girls were able to get some eggs...
They also took pictures w the Easter bunny...while some kids were screaming terrified...Olivia was jumping up and down next to the Easter bunny saying "Easter Bunny!!!" (not in line...Americans probably really appreciated that)...and she kept saying that all day...Even at night, when I told her the Easter Bunny was sleeping after she asked to go see him, she started telling everyone in the table (family night) that "Easter Bunny sheepin' "...
After we got back, they opened the plastic eggies and found lots of froggies...so now I'm forseeing 2 problems: they'll think both bunnies and froggies come from eggies...
So, as long as I don't have any other problems w them, we should be ok...and I can handle it...
Have a Happy Easter!!!!

The Only Constant Thing in Life is Change
I didn't do much today. Just like the girlies I coach who weren't "feeling it" today...My house is pretty organized but I still have a lot of work to do before Sunday.
I got a job in Medical Records, in the same hospital I work at. I am scared of change of course but, moreover, of not having enough challenge. I've been getting from a lot of people the comment that I won't like the job and I'll get bored, it terrifies me...I want to learn more and it looks like I might not be doing as much as I do now...Change is nerve racking...I'm pretty confortable now, I know what I'm doing but I do get to use my brain to figure out issues we come accross...I love most of the people I wok with and they love me back :). In fact, I've been working w a new friend lately, and, because of her whistling and the non sense jokes we say, we laugh all day...I haven't had this much fun at work ever.
Today, I found out they were organizing a surprise luncheon for me and I was very touched. It made me very sad and emotional. I'm going to miss talking to this wonderful people so much.
However, I have made a decision and I'm going to hope for the best. Plus, I think the new job will be worth it just to not have to listen and see some people. No drama is a guarantee and I have enough drama in my life.
OK. I'm exhausted today for some reason so I'm going to bed

I had an awesome day today. I woke up this morning to my sweet little Olivia saying "mommy...mommy..." We had oatmeal w water because I run out of milk, which I'm not used to but I had to improvise because I had promised oatmeal...Put some extra honey in it and the girls devour it...I wouldn't touch it..I had a toast instead...feeding my kids sth I wouldnt eat, what a great mom!!! We got ready for the pool and we went to Safeway to get milk and blueberries, which I stated before we got out of the car. I love it when, throughout the store I kept repeating "We are here just for blueberries and milk" and they wouldn't protest about not getting what they were asking for. We went home and ate blueberries, hang out, had a visit from my girls' new best friends and went to the pool. Olivia was just crazy jumping off the edge, she's so brave! I really need to get them swim lessons this summer.
The pool was crazy hot, after 40 min, Kyrsten was already "I'm hungry, I want to go casa" and olivia was getting pretty red so I decided it was time to go...I hate not even making it for one hour...I feel like I dont get my money's worth. I have to work for 1 hour for us to go 40 mins...
Anyways, It was so nice out that I just wanted to make a picnic. Without having to cook for it. We went to Safeway (again), got those already made sadwiches, oreo cookies sandwiches. I layed a blanket on my dead grass and we ate there, surrounded by deer poop. It was so great (except for the dead grass and deer poop)...I'll be doing a lot of picnics in the summer.
We took a really nice nap, the three of us. Then we went to the park and came home. Now we are all in bed ready for the time change tomorrow...I'm not big on change and time change is probably one of my least favorite...Don't mess w my sleep...
I'm starting my 6 day work week tomorrow, which I haven't done in a while and that might explain the phone calls I got to make sure I was going tomorrow...I got the schedule and I had already agreed on it so I don't understand...I'm finding it very irritating to talk to people lately...I just wished everybody just new to do what they are supposed to and just shortly ask what they need and problems solved...Maybe it would be a good thing if I got the job I'm applying for at Medical Records and be by myself a good chunk of the day...I'm becoming antisocial...ha-ha-ha...I truly dont think that would ever happen but I'm just a little tired of the excess of words that goes on in my job lately (I guess only from people I particularly dont care for). It would be nice to have a change and learn a lot of new things. And skip the drama :).
Wish me luck for these week!!!
Any changes going on in your life???
