You know what's worse than hearing your little one crying from the other room...Hearing another little one crying and knowing it was you little one's wrong doing...
So, for Easter, we were very generously invited by 2 families...1 pm late brunch...a 2 month old and a 2 and a half year old. Amazing family, just them and in laws...great time except for the occational before mentioned cases...very fun.
We left at 3.30 because I figured we (I) needed some downtime to transition into the other playdate (at 4pm).
We got to the 2nd house a bit late. I made the mistake of thinking my daughters could just run wild w other children...My adult time lasted quite longer than you would think before the crying happened...and after that I was just running behind Olivia...what a work out!!! (I guess after all I ate it was necessary)...
I'm exhausted...Tomorrow is the first day of my new job and I guess I'm not feeling anything much...I'll just go with no preconceptions...I'm just worried about getting to work in time...This has never been a problem because, as I had to be at work at 7, I always dropped the kids at Michael's and head to work...
Now, I start at 8, so I'll be dropping the kids at school (just on Mondays)...It used to be that people could drop them off before 8 but now they don't allow it so...there's my concern: Two places at the same time...
That's the part I'm most worried about...My schedule...8 to 5...Monday thru Friday...that's my whole life right there...buaaaaa... Anyways, I'll be working w a great (and MATURE) group of ladies...It shall be good!
Ok, wish me luck!!!

In Between Jobs
I had my last day as a Registrar in Patient Financial Services yesterday and I will have my first day as a Clerk in Medical Records on Monday. So, right now, I'm in between jobs...not that I get any extra time to recuperate from the traumatizing experience that was leaving a department and job I felt so confortable with...
On Wednesday, my last "trainee" brought me some yellow Calla Lillies (my favorite flower), made me cry. On Thursday, they organized a pot luck for me. And Friday was pretty uneventful in the PFS Department...I didn't have time to mop around...It was pretty steady all day...
I did go see a lawyer on Friday, so, with all the divorce crap...I don't have room in my brain about how sad it is to leave PFS, how scary it is to have a new job, whether I'll like it or not, whether it'll be challenging enough, how will I get along w everybody...That will come. I'm a big girl, I made a decision and there's not point in worrying about it...I'll just show up and do my best.
Going back to divorceland, we have and appointment to see the lawyer on Thrusday. I've already filled out the papers w everything I think should be...Hopefully, Michael will agree and we can file jointly which means a lot less money, which I don't have anyways, and a lot less time...We'll see...
Today, there was an Easer hunt 2 blocks away from my house...It hasn't snowed all winter but it snowed today...Quite a bit....As smart as I am, I drove those two blocks....to find that I pretty much parked at my house...We were at a corner with not too many kids, so the girls were able to get some eggs...
They also took pictures w the Easter bunny...while some kids were screaming terrified...Olivia was jumping up and down next to the Easter bunny saying "Easter Bunny!!!" (not in line...Americans probably really appreciated that)...and she kept saying that all day...Even at night, when I told her the Easter Bunny was sleeping after she asked to go see him, she started telling everyone in the table (family night) that "Easter Bunny sheepin' "...
After we got back, they opened the plastic eggies and found lots of froggies...so now I'm forseeing 2 problems: they'll think both bunnies and froggies come from eggies...
So, as long as I don't have any other problems w them, we should be ok...and I can handle it...
Have a Happy Easter!!!!
